Communications Specialist & Creative Copywriter

Taylor Brown Thunder is a Communications Specialist and Creative Copywriter at Buffalo Nickel Creative, where she supports the agency’s communications, creative, and production efforts across a range of projects. Her work includes developing brand messaging and written content, managing social media and digital communications, and helping maintain a consistent and engaging voice across client and agency platforms.

In addition to her communications and copywriting work, Taylor provides project management and production coordination support, helping teams stay organized, manage moving pieces, and carry projects from planning through execution. Her multidisciplinary role allows her to work across creative, strategic, and logistical needs while supporting both internal teams and client-facing initiatives.

Taylor graduated summa cum laude from the University of Redlands with a B.A. in Political Science and English Literature. She was the recipient of the Frederick John Wiley Memorial Award for International Relations and served for two years as Panhellenic President. She is also a member of Mortar Board, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Phi Beta Kappa.

Taylor is an enrolled member of the Ho-Chunk Nation and is also of Lakota and Karuk descent. Outside of work, she is an avid reader and collector of special-edition books, with a particular appreciation for beautifully crafted editions and storytelling. She also enjoys creative writing in her free time, continuing her love of language and storytelling beyond her professional work.
