Jason graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Communications and double minors in Studio Art and Political Science, laying the foundation for a multifaceted career. His professional journey began as an Account Representative at a music distributor, where he managed the company’s largest accounts, CDNow and Music Boulevard. After two years, he pivoted into the tech world, joining Intel as a Web Developer and Project Lead. During his six years at Intel, Jason led high-profile projects, including the flagship Intel.com website and the consumer-focused Intel Personal Computing site, solidifying his expertise in digital strategy and project management.
Currently, Jason serves as Project Manager at BNC, where he oversees video production projects for high-profile clients in the non-profit and media & entertainment sectors. With a focus on storytelling and impactful messaging, he collaborates with clients and his team to develop creative concepts and deliver high-quality productions that inspire and engage audiences.
In addition to his professional achievements, Jason is an accomplished actor with credits spanning film, television, new media, radio, and theater. He’s best known for his comedic roles in the hit web series *SMOSH* and for sharing screen time with Alex O’Loughlin and Daniel Dae Kim on CBS’s *Hawaii Five-0*. His versatility extends to commercials, print ads, and voiceover work for major brands across industries such as sports, finance, technology, and travel. As a filmmaker, Jason has written, produced, and starred in projects including the short films *Bite Me*, *Office Romance*, and *The Rescue*, as well as the web series *Area 49*, with screenings at Asian American film festivals and Comic Cons nationwide.
Jason is also a 1st Degree Black Belt in Mapag Tapat Shi, a blended martial arts system incorporating American Kenpo, Jeet Kune Do, Escrima, and Israeli Combatives.
